Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms are great with lots of space and lovely decor, making you feel like you're in a top-end room with minor adjustments. The service is amazing, very friendly and informative, going above and beyond. The location is excellent and near Chinatown, with some room for improvement in window maintenance. The dining experience is fantastic with options like the full Canadian Breakfast. Overall, a great stay with some minor room issues and the need for window maintenance.
The hotel offers quiet rooms with very comfortable beds and a friendly staff. The decor might need a refresh, but the view of the Calgary Tower is gorgeous. However, the shower over a bath setup might not suit everyone.
The hotel provides clean and spacious rooms with a large double queen-sized bed and amazing views, although there were a few barely noticeable adjustments. The service was very courteous and helpful, going out of their way to assist us, with great room service and friendly staff. The location, although not ideal due to being a bit far from desired venues, is close to Chinatown and downtown shopping centers. The dining experience offers fresh cheese bread and a new restaurant for breakfast. Overall, a recommended hotel with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel has a great location, close to the Bow River walks and cycle paths, with easy access to downtown Calgary. The service is exceptional, with a personalized touch from the staff. However, the rooms feel outdated and in need of a renovation, resembling a noisy highway. The dining experience offers delicious options, especially the Pork Belly, but the cleanliness could be improved in certain areas.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very quiet. The staff was incredibly friendly, making me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. The large junior suite on the 14th floor had a stunning view of downtown, which was a real bonus. However, I was a bit surprised not to find a room safe, which most other hotels usually have.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel! The room was clean and very comfortable, the staff was exceptionally helpful, and the location was excellent for both work and leisure. The dining experience was delicious, but there could be more variety. Overall, a great value for the money.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel with its comfy and clean rooms offering great views, a brilliant shower, and a very comfy bed. Despite the ongoing renovation work, I could still enjoy a wonderful river view overlooking the city. The service was warm and welcoming from start to finish, with super friendly and helpful staff. The location was awesome, being near the city center and closer to Chinatown. However, being right beside a fire station could be a bit noisy at times. The dining experience at the Shoe and Canoe was good but could have more selection for the price. The facilities were well-maintained, making my stay even more pleasant.
The hotel has spacious and clean rooms with large double queen-sized beds, although the room assignment was a bit of a hassle initially. The staff, especially at the reception desk, were accommodating and friendly. Despite some issues during check-in, the overall experience was comfortable and enjoyable.
The hotel offers spacious and clean rooms, ideal for those with sensitivities, although not matching the photos exactly in the king room category. The service is outstanding, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The location is convenient for walking and close to key attractions, but can be noisy due to fire engine alarms at night. The dining experience varies, with some highs and lows during busy times like Stampede. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.
Staying here was a mixed experience. While the rooms had amazing views and were extremely comfortable, sharing beds and having to accommodate with a cot wasn't ideal. The hotel itself was very spacious and modern, but the situation of having to share beds could have resulted in a discounted rate for the inconvenience.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were lovely and very clean, offering comfy beds and a quiet atmosphere. However, there were some issues with booking and payment that could have been smoother. The location was very convenient for my needs.
